The Alberta Community and Co-operative Associations’ Leadership Awards recognize co-operators and co-operative organizations that have demonstrated outstanding leadership by taking bold steps to improve their co-operative and the sector in Alberta.
The awards are set to close the 2018 Gathering conference on October 18 2018 with a banquet lunch and celebration of co-operative achievements, which have made lasting impressions in the community. An ACCA selection committee will choose the award winners, who will receive a ticket to our conference ‘Leadership’ day on the 18th October.
If you look around your organization or community, who are the people whose passion makes the difference? Who makes you want to come into work? Who makes you want to support the personal and professional development of co-operators in your organization? It is these people that you should most definitely be nominating to one of our 5 award categories.
Awarded to individuals who grant outstanding and continuous service of a local, provincial and national nature.
Recongizing co-operators demonstrating leadership that inspired others toward something better and that resulted in an increased value to members.
Presented for (new) product and service innovations that embody co-operative principles and improve prior approaches.
Individuals that respond to the needs of younger members and motivates meaningful youth participation in the co-operative.
Emerging leaders aged 30 or younger who demonstrate leadership and exemplify co-operative values and principles.
